RipDock Hermes Beta Setup

RipDock beta connects the iPhone and Android Apps to Hermes through the RipDock Hermes plugin. Follow these steps to install Hermes, expose it through a public HTTPS URL, pair your Device, and start chatting.

What You Need

  • A beta build of the RipDock iPhone or Android App.
  • A working Hermes installation.
  • The RipDock Hermes plugin from GitHub.
  • A public HTTPS URL that forwards to your Hermes Runtime.
  • Access to the Hermes dashboard so you can approve your Device.

Setup Checklist

  1. Install the RipDock App.
  2. Install and start Hermes.
  3. Install the RipDock Hermes plugin.
  4. Set up your public HTTPS Runtime URL.
  5. Configure the RipDock Hermes plugin.
  6. Pair the App with Hermes.
  7. Start a chat with one of your Hermes Agents.

Install App

Install RipDock on iPhone or Android and confirm the first screen is ready.

Install Hermes

Install Hermes and confirm its dashboard opens before adding the plugin.

Install Plugin

Add the public RipDock Hermes plugin and verify it appears in Hermes.

Public URL

Create a public HTTPS URL and verify the RipDock identity endpoints.

Configure Plugin

Save the public URL and customize Runtime and Agent metadata.

Pair App

Use the Device fingerprint to approve the App from the Hermes dashboard.

Fix common setup, tunnel, Pairing, Agent, and chat problems.
